Glass:

• Prone to shattering while transporting and moving
• Basic glass provides little to no UV protection which will harm your art over time 

Regular acrylic:

• Blue/green tint
• Blurry hue  
• Very common to see scratches on the surface 
• Provides little to no UV protection which over time will harm your art
